If Only I was a Magician

I could win ribbons for great gourmet meals

Climb mountains and rotate all four of my wheels

but if i could just pull my man from a hat

there's not much could ever top that.

I'm sure I could hitchhike the Alcan alone

I'd prolly survive and i might make it home

but man it'd be great if i stuck out my thumb

and that meant my sweetheart would come.

Some people do great all alone in the park

Some folks dont mind jogging solo at dark

but all i can think of when i am alone

is how much i wish you were home.
