What it Feels Like When Your Husband's Coming Home From a Long Deployment

I felt a stirring inside me on Sunday.  It felt unusual.  An electric static in me.   Motivation emerged.

I started cleaning my house, even though it's really not that dirty or disorganized.  I've been cleaning it ever since.

I finally washed the dirty uniform of his that has been sitting around since his last day of work on shore.

I moved back over to my side of the bed and cleaned off his night stand.

I bought a whole new outfit to wear when I go pick him up at the airport.

Planning.  So much planning to do.  Everything will now have to be done in advance.  No time can be wasted.

I definitely need to go shopping and get food he will actually eat.

I dusted off his xbox controllers.

Washed the car and cleaned it out.

Scanned all my old school essays and uploaded them to the cloud.

Implemented a new activity plan for my day care.

Took a message for him.   His first message in eight months.

I can't believe this is finally happening.  I am so happy!
