There hung a queen of light and darkness off the ramp that spans the river
The in between, that shines and sparkles, a tramp that wiggles through the land
From pastures green or blight with carcass leave none their camp to plan a rescue
So has the queen pained metacarpals; they cramp, sweat trickles down her hand.
The Lord of Darkness he appears at the edge of the abyss
but she is on the other side and he can't reach across
The Lord of Light is watching her but he is eating curry
He says he'll come and help her soon and that she shouldn't worry.
There hung a queen of light and darkness, off the ramp that spans the river
She fell between, her cries were startled, sending ripples toward the sand
From pastures green or blight with carcass, leave none their camp to plan a rescue
So drowns the queen of Light and Darkness, and ne'er a cripple lends a hand.
