“The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die. As well the minds which are prevented from changing their opinions; they cease to be mind.”
―The world is full of cubes, and we are cats. Disregarding the stupidity of the thing, we long to fit in. We put ourselves into boxes and curl up, contorting our bodies and souls grotesquely in order that no part stray outside the lines.
From birth we've been learning about the world from those who are older, and we assume, wiser. Yet we fail to consider that experience brings wisdom, not age. It is possible to be very old and have limited experience, or very young and have a vast supply.
From this education, we've built a foundation of information we don't question, until something upsets the balance and forces us to reevaluate what we believe. Something happens that puts so-called facts in shadow. We see life from a different angle. Sometimes an unpopular one. From this point on we are faced with a difficult choice: Should we conform our bodies to the confines of the cube, or embrace being different.
