An Evening of Popcorn

I've been having an interesting evening.  I am in the presence of a very vivacious and outgoing eighteen year old who is angsty and extremely opinionated.

The conversation so far has many punctuating cuss words along with an aggressive use of the word... "like."

I'm sitting here silently mocking as they attempt to find a movie on Netflix that isn't old or doesn't have a title like, "Three Wives and a Husband."

I'm trying to decide if this is a step up from the conversations that were happening before everyone decided to try to find a movie.

I think not.  I sampled the proverbial popcorn as she told us about a guy from work who took her out on a date last week.  He then proceeded to get way ahead of himself by asking if he was her boyfriend, calling her intimate names and asking questions about their future lives together.

I get the distinct impression that this young female continues to bait this man in an endeavor to acquire more shocking details to share with her fandom.  I get the feeling she enjoys the attention from both angles, and doesn't actually want the man to stop talking to her.
